Claudia has been practicing law since 2013. She has worked as legal counsel and a partner at her previous law office for two years, until 2021.
She is an experienced legal counsel and one of Iceland’s leading experts in the fields of human/civil rights, immigration, and refugee law. She also has extensive knowledge and work experience in family law, bankruptcy and criminal justice law.
Beyond her client-centered legal work, Claudia is a part-time lecturer at the University of Iceland and Reykjavik University. Claudia has served or is currently serving on the boards of various committees and non-profit organizations. In 2023 Claudia was appointed Judge to the Court of Impeachment for a six-year term by Althing, the Icelandic Parliament.

Albert has been practicing law since 2018. He worked as a lawyer at the Icelandic Red Cross until he began working for CPLS in 2022. Before becoming a lawyer Albert worked as a real estate agent.
He is an experienced lawyer in asylum and human rights-related matters. He also has extensive knowledge and work experience in administrative and real estate law.
Beyond his client-centered legal work, Albert is a part-time lecturer at the University of Iceland. Albert has served and is currently serving on the boards of committees and non-profit organizations.
Edda is a graduate of the School of Law at the University of Iceland. She is an associate with Claudia & Partners since 2023 and has previously worked in the same capacity at other law firms.
Beyond her legal and client-centered work, Edda has been active with non-profit organizations, including Orator, the Law Student’s Association at the University of Iceland.
Þorgeir is currently a law student at the University of Iceland. He has been working as a paralegal with Claudia & Partners since 2022 and has previously worked in the same capacity at other law firms. Prior to studying law, Þorgeir worked as an investigative journalist with one of Iceland’s leading media, where he covered investigations relating to human rights, immigration and refugee law. In 2017 he received the prestigious Journalist of the year award.
Þorgeir has furthermore worked in the public sector including for the environmental and planning department of the Ministry of the Environment, Energy and Climate.
Beyond his legal and client-centered work, Þorgeir has been active with various committees and non-profit organizations, worked as a volunteer for numerous associations.
