CPLS’s lawyers teaching at universities

This spring, Claudia Ashanie Wilson, partner, and Auður Tinna Aðalbjarnardóttir, attorney, taught two lessons as part of the course VIÐ288F – Diversity and Inclusion in Organizations, at the Master‘s program at the University of Iceland‘s School of Business. This was their sixth year in a row, teaching as guest lecturers in this course, and the first lesson took place at the University Center, while the second lesson took place in the law firm’s meeting room. Around twenty students had a pleasant visit to the law firm.

Claudia and Auður have regularly taught at universities this past decade, primarily at UI’s School of Business but also at the Faculty of Law, the School of Education, at GRÓ GEST and at Bifröst University.

Albert Björn Lúðvígsson, attorney, also gives annual lessons on applicants for international protection, both at the University of Iceland’s Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, in courses called FVS102M Flóttafólk og umsækjendur um alþjóðlega vernd and HJÚ830G Hjúkrun, menning og margbreytileiki.

Participation in academic work and information dissemination is an important part of the firm’s work, and the aim is to continue teaching during upcoming semesters.

The accompanying photo shows Claudia with Dr. Erla Sólveig Kristjánsdóttir and Þóra H. Christiansen, head teachers of the abovementioned business course, after the lesson at the firm on April 17th, 2026.
